Hi all,

This is a slightly messy scenario but I will run it by you.

A server had SBS installed. It was then removed but some components remained, one of which was the server summary emails.

This was all working fine untill the server had to restarted due to a change of drivbe and now the emails just have:

No Performance data is available at this time. Performance data is collected hourly.

I can't access the SBS console anymore as it isn't installed so therefore I can't configure the reporting through that.

Do you have any ideas how I can the email working again so it displays all the usual information??

Please note this is not an actual email delivery issus as you get the same when you run the report through Internet Explorer on the server.

Thanks in advance.

So...what's an SBS 2003 server when you remove SBS? And why is it removed? Couldn't it be reinstalled, but keep it to a minimum, installing the Monitoring module?

From my understanding of the situation the server was upgraded from SBS to the full version of Windows 2003 Server with a full version of SQL.

Reinstalling it isn't really an option, I would prefer to find another way round of possible?

You might want to try getting out your SBS 2003 Disk 3 cd and going into the SBS\Monitoring folder and running the 'monitoring.msi' application. That will walk you through monitoring setup again, and may allow you to reset your monitoring app.

But I'll also say that getting any of the SBS features working again post-transition pack is way out of support. I couldn't get anyone at M$ to talk much about it with me.
