Hi,
I have a low end server with six PCI modems on board. It's a P3/500MHz with 128 MB RAM. It's running W2K server with SP4 and all releveant updates etc. Before we started adding modems and enabling R&RAS, the box ran fine (despite it's modest specs). Since we've enabled RAS, the box now suffers from extended hanging when working locally on the console (and through remote MMC). It sometimes 'freezes' for several seconds at a time. The odd part is that there are no active users on RAS yet! Does anyone have any ideas what may be crippling the server performance? We've verified that there's no conflict with hardware etc so we're out of ideas...
