IS-IT--Management
I have been advised by our ISP that it seems as though our server does not follow the SMTP specifications to the letter and fails to issue a RSET between messages.
The ISP has modified the state transition table to assume an automatic RSET at the end of any DATA state within a SMTP session.
My problem of random bounced e mails is cured but I would prefer it if my srver did issue an RSET between messages but I have no idea how to correct this problem.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
