According to the documentation, Server edition can have an SCN on either LAN port provided that all the SCN connections for a unit are on the same port. I have a situation where I have the SCN between a Vitualized IPO in on the same switch as an IP500 connected via the WAN ports. The SCN randomly goes down multiple times a day and comes right back up. In doing a monitor trace I see the AVRIP packets are flowing over the LAN connections not over the WAN. Why is this? I am sure this is causing my issue. I think this my be tied to the voicemail IP in the SE witch is set to the LAN IP but I don't see anything in the documentation against this.
