HELLO EVERYONE
i have a new Installation (Server Edition) i installed both Primary & Secondary every one on a separate DELL R230
Without Raid Option,Host ID generated and sent to Avaya to open Licences and sent Back to Activate
all above with no Problem Until Client asked for new 2 Hard disks to be installed on both servers with Raid Option (Raid 5)
is there any way to configure Raid 5 on 2 servers without new installation and if not and i must a make new installation does Host ID will changes as i know it's A combination of Host Name, lAN IP & time zone

You need to rehost the licenses and you can do that from PLDS.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

there is no way to create raid 5 without new installtion

Doesn't it come preconfigured with RAID 1 or did you buy a non-avaya server?

Hope not, Avaya wont support a third party server unless you are running VM Ware on it.

I CONFIGURED RAID 5 BUT AFTER INSTALLATION I FOUND THIS ERROR
IS THERE ANY SOLUTION

So you didn't answer the question.

There would be no reason to configure RAID 5 on the server unless you're using a customer provider server which is currently not supported except under Controlled Introduction.

thanks all for responding
i configured DELL R230 for Raid 5 then i installed server edition & Configure both Primary & Secondary then it fail as snapshot sent before ,i found the problem was on SATA setting in Bios Configuration was made SATA Mode i switch it to AHCI Mode and reinstall both Primary & Secondary with no problem detected

please notice that host id has been changed from non Raid to Raid system as all Parameter the same (time zone-host name-ip address)

The amazing part is that you haven't answered any questions.

There is no reason to configure RAID 5, it shouldn't even be used today since there are far better options.
