Server Edition Expansion issue 2

Hi

I have a Server Edition Primary running 9.1.8.

I am trying to add an Expansion on 9.1.8 with a Combo card to it. I can do that fine but the issue is as follows:

500v2 setup as Standard - can see extensions and users

500v2 setup as expansion - can see extensions but the users are not created

Has anyone had this before? Does anyone know of the reason or a fix?

with server edition it is normally preferred to create the user solution wide rather than on a particular expansion server


Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

If IP phones user will be created in the server.

If digital or analog you will have to creat them in the 500v2

I just added an expansion last night (R10.0.2) and it had digital and analog ports as well as 4 IP phones connected.
They all came up fine once joined to the Server.
Just make sure you join it via the web interface because somehow I have had issues with the Manager trying to join it.

I always add via manager, just make sure to check the retain config option or it will clear out all the good stuff

Also even with digital phones the users can still be programmed on the main SE, they do not need to be programmed on the expansion the actual phones are.
