Does anyone know of a free (or very cheap) disk space monitor? It needs to be centrally manageable, preferably agentless and be able to send SMTP alerts.
seems to do what I want (along with a lot of others around the 449-100 a server mark), however we're currently evaluating more enterprise-class monitoring/reporting solutions so just need a stop-gap solution for 2-3 months so the cheaper the better.

Most stuff out there seems to do the whole event log monitoring/automated response thing which is more functionality than we need, I can't seem to find a really basic product (and I'd rather not get into setting up Perf Mon stuff).

any simple SNMP tool should be able to report the disk space. all you need is enable SNMP service on the server and configure it by changing default community strings and limiting access to it.
check the for a nice tool
