Greetings all,

I have been working with an Automation server in a project for the past few weeks. After rebuilding the EXE this morning the program that does the CREATEOBJECT using the server class reports the object cannot be created.

I took a look at the SERVERS tab in the project and the server class is no longer there. I restored the project from a backup and everything looks ok until I rebuild the project. After rebuilding, the server class is dropped again.

Not sure what is going on and would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks,
msc

Update

Looks like a problem with the class itself. When I open the class to edit and then use CLASS INFO to set the OLE PUBLIC check box, I can rebuild the EXE. However, after the build the OLE PUBLIC check box is no longer set. I tested using other classes and they can be set as OLE PUBLIC and the project will build as expected.

I recreated the class and I am back to where I was before this behavior, but I would be curious as to whether anyone has experinced this problem.

Thanks,
msc
