Server Application Error

I got Win XP Pro and I have recently upgraded to SP2. I am having trouble using the IIS for testing my ASP pages locally. When I try to open a correctly web shared site I get this error in the browser:

Server Application Error
The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance.

What's going on? And where can I find this event log?
