Server 2K3 Admin Pak

Previously I installed the W2K3 server Admin pack onto my XP pro workstation and I was happily able to remotely administrate my AD. Just recently I cannot - if I attempt to launch certain features (eg AD Domains & Trusts) I get an error message stating that the 'RPC server is unavailable'. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Nothing has changed in recent times on my desktop configuration that might have resulted in this. I can connect to the same DC on a different workstation and admistrate the AD remotely so it has to be something client side - I think.

Has that workstation upgraded to SP2?

No - That's the first thing I checked - it's still got SP1. I had thought that it might have been a recent patch though - it's set to automatically update but we've a GP running preventing SP2 from installing onto all clients until we're finished with the Lab testing.
