Server 2000 and Roaming Profiles

I work in a college, there are 900 client PC's.
The problem is when the students log on using thier roaming profile they don't get the correct printer as their default and the win 2k clients default to a symantec fax??.

Why is the profiles not picking up the correct default printer?

Printers are connected straight to the network via thier own integrated network card configured with a static IP.
The ones that hang off a client don't appear at all.

Any ideas would be welcome because it's driving me crazy!!

in my schoolnetwork i have different printers according to the klasroom.

1)In your Active Directory go to OU of the klasroom, and create a new grouppolicy.

2)choose edit

3)computerconfiguration - windows settings - scripts - startup

4) add
name: runll32
parameters: Printui.dll, printUIEntry /ga /n\\Server01\HPLaser1


I also prevent users from adding printers

Grouppolicy: computer configuration - windows settings - local policies - security options: Prevent Users from installing Printer Drivers: enable
