I have a very simple access database of auto parts, and I have a website to sell them on. What I want to do is somehow be able to have folks select a part from a list or drop box or something, and have the page be created (from a template) on the fly. I have pictures in the database, and all the info I would need, including descriptions. Each part is one record, and each record has roughly 12 cells in it. How can I I do this?? Is this a better question for another forum perhaps? :^)

You could open it with a script and build the page with HTML code. This can get very compicated if you are not an intranet programmer. You also need something to process your payments and get a secure file downloded to you PC to process the orders. The other issue is what kind of server you are using, if it can handle DB connects. I use Visual InterDev for my sites. You can also use Java.

Ok, I know HTML... and I have never done an intranet. I know a little bit of JavaScript too. This page is being hosted on an NT server (readyhosting.com) and I am using the PayPal shopping cart for payments. That part is not so tough, I am really just trying to use this for part descriptions not so much for purchasing. They will be led to a catalog page to order form, actually if I could have the descriptions come from the catalog that would be better. Guess this is going to take me a while!!
