serial connection

Hi,

is there any command to open a connection through the serial port of the SUN to a PC ?

my SUN station is hanging all the time and i think it's possible that the cause might be a connection through the serial port, is it possible?

use hyperterm on you pc. make sure you have a null model connection from pc serial to serial port A on the sun. power sun system off. Pull keyboard out of the sun.
you hyperterm setting need to be 9600 8 none 1. Power on sun and you should get output to hyperterm window.
