serial communication and RS232 sample code

Hi, Im trying to come up with visual C++ code to enable serial communication from a PC to a transmitter chip then to a receiver chip. The code that i've tried don't compile ... help! Thanks alot

I've written a FAQ on this subject - I can't remember if it was here or the C++ - Microsoft forum - but it has code for using the serial port.
