What is the best way to create separate name spaces for one network? Two separate namespaces - one domain name for the public Internet, and another domain name for the private intranet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I may be able to help, but I am unsure of what you are looking to do.

At a place I have worked at we had an internal web page that could only be accessed from the internal network.
Let's call it

Our company name was:

In order to type in the web-browser and get to blah.com I needed to set up a DNS file that has blah.com on it. You do this the same way you set up your external DNS. The only difference is you will exclusively use private IP's. Your traffic should be going to an internal DNS server for DNS resolution first before going out over internet traffic. As long as you set up your DNS server to resolve the internal IP for blah.com you should be able to access this from your intranet.

Did this confuse things more?
