I receive a few e-mails that have multiple people in the "To" field.
How can I have all those addresses go into my Contacts Folder -- aside from doing all 50 or so manually?
When I tried copying all and pasting, I loose the e-mail address -- because all that is copied is just the text, not the underlying address itself.
Thank you,
Steve

Your question is unrelated to MS Office, but I think this will work.....

In OE, go to Tools, Options, Send tab. Make sure that 'Automatically put people I reply to in my Address Book' is checked. Then, open the message to the 50 people, and reply to all. I don't think you will have to send the message, just clicking the RTA button should be enought to add them to the Address Book.

Why would you think this is unrelated to MS Office? Outlook comes on the Office CD. Think you're right about the solution though :)

Hi Ken,

Have to say I agree with smah:

Outlook is part of Office.
Outlook Express is shipped with Windows.

Agree with you both about the solution though [smile]

Enjoy,
Tony

Ahhhh - But the OP didn't specify which - That was just part of smah's note, and whilst OE doesn't by default have a Contacts folder, Outlook does, so to my mind that would make Outlook a safer bet, buuuuuuutttt, over to you mrteacher - which one are you working with???? :)

:)

Thank you to all of you that replied.

I will see if this works on Monday when I get back to work -- I do not see a reason why it would not.

Another spectacular job by all!!!

Steve
