Sent messages in Outlook disappearing

I am trying to fix a problem for my manager. He was having no issues with his Outlook, had the motherboard and keyboard replaced yesterday (coffee related accident). Now, when he sends a message, it sends but does not save the messages. The "save sent messages" box is enabled, and I see no weird rules that would put these messages elsewhere. Any ideas?

Well- I found the answer in a previous post. The date/time was not updated after the motherboard was replaced. Therefore the messages were still in there, just will a 1/12/04 date. Fixed the date and now all is right with the world.
