Does anyone know of a system or software that can work with CiscoWorks and/or HP Openview to send critical alerts to Mobile phones network e.g. Vodaphone.

Thanks

I have a Sprint phone and just send an email to <phone number>@messaging.sprintpcs.com. (Nextel is <number>@pager.netxtel.com) It uses the short messaging service with a 100 character limit.

I use kiwi syslog, and you can setup alerts to send emails. You could then have it email your phone (as jgercken suggested) based on the severity level of the PIX.

Thanks all

Does this mean i have to get in touch withm mobile phone service provider and see if they support sending email to their phone?

I use vodaphone.

Thanks

baddos,
Do you use kiwi syslog with HP Openview or anything similar? I am using HP openview and would like to add this feature.

Ru55ell... I am using kiwi syslog. There is an option in that software to look for certain events and if that happens then (email, page, write a new log, etc).
