I use Sendmail 8.13.8+Sun/8.13.8 on Solaris 10 8/07 x86. I want to use functionality similar to mailertable, but based on sender address rather than receipient address. What I would really like to do is base this off of local unix group. Exmaple: If the sender is in group A use the smtp server at 1.1.1.1:25, if group B use smtp server at 1.1.1.2:25, and so on.
Is this possible? I have researched this and cannot seem to find a way to do this on the server. I can manually set the accounts in the client to do this, but I want the main server to be able to relay to a defined smtp server depending on the group. make sense?
