sendmail configuration howto ? (beginner)

Hello Everyone,

i have compiled & installed sendmail 8.13.3 succesful :)
on solaris 9

but now ...... how i can setup sendmail as email server or mta agend i have proved to understanding /etc/mail/sendmail.cf but :-/

it's possible that exist any simple step be step configuration,

please i'am whery happy for any feedbacks
