I have setup exchange and it seems to be able to send mail internally without any problem. I am having trouble getting exchange to send and receive. I have added mx records to my internal dns server. I am wondering if there is anything else that needs to be done. I am able to see that the messages are getting stuck in the smtp connector's queue. So the mail is being sent and stops at this point. I am not sure how to resolve this issue.

First of all, an MX record has nothing to doe with sending, that is for receiving.

For your SMTP to work, you need to have a correct DNS, or configure it to use the ISP as Smart Host.

In certain parts of faq858-3483 you will find the configuration settings.

Maybe faq858-2165 can help too.
