Sending Pictures

When ever I send a picture to myself to check and see how it will look, when I receive it it's always to big. How can I send a photo and have it downsize so that it will be sent fast and the other person that receives it can see the whole thing.

Are you sending the pictures as jpegs or as Tiffs? I always use a program like Macromedia Fireworks to make my pictures smaller before I send them through E-mail. You are able to make them as small as you like then.

Send pictures as attachments (i.e as is), don't build in them into the message body (Outlook using assuming), Word docs etc. Attachment can't change size.
Use Photo Editor (or other Office add-on) to reduce picture size (JPEG with about 90% quality factor or less with worse quality).
