Sending Outlook Vcards

When I try to send a Vcard to another mail recipient that attachment is a .msg file instead of a .vcf file. When the recipient recieves the email the attachment looks like a message instead of a Vcard. Is there a setting in Outlook I need to change so the attachment will show up as a Vcard? I am using Outlook XP/2002.
