Sending messages on a cell phone from PC

You may be in the wrong forum.
There are web sites where you can send text to a mobile, for example freeserve.com.
Or, try SMS Centre from This sends via a modem. I haven't used the app, but they do a control called sms messenger which works ok and I assume has the same innards.
