I would like to send mail from a text based command line, much like the unix Mail command.

Anybody know of way to make this happen in NT?

I know you can get 3rd party tools (freeware) that support this.
Can't remember the name of one at the moment. You still require an SMTP mail server on the network, however.

the server I got...just not the commandline :)

I'll look around for a freeware thing but so far not having much luck.

You can telnet to an SMTP server and do it that way, but it's pretty unwieldy.
