sending internal mails between exchagne 2000 and 2003

I'm in the process of upgrading our exchange server to 2003 running on brand new hardware.

I've installed Windows 2003 (on the new hardware) and applied all the updates, then installed exchange and installed all updates. Internally I can send mail from the new server to the old server but can't send it from the old server to the new server.

It just sit in the queue adn im told the destination server doesnt exsist
