I have created a newsletter in Dreamweaver MX 6 on the Mac that I want to email, complete with graphics and anchors.

If I copy and paste this into Entourage, it pastes only the type, not the graphics. If I copy the code and paste it, it does not render, showing the HTML code, not graphics. Same thing happens when pasting it into web mail.

If I save the HTML and bring it over to my Windows machine, it does allow me to import that and send it out. The problem is that Microsoft replaces Dreamweaver tags with its own, thus chaning fonts and anchors.

Is there any way to go from Dreamweaver to an email client without mangling the design?

the best way is to upload the images to a webserver and set the image paths as absolute (<img src=" and just mail the HTML code...

I apologize if I'm not being clear in my explanation, as it is complicated.

I do not have a problem with the images. They are on the server as absolutes.

In Dreamweaver, you can select the Code or Design view. If I copy the contents from the Design view into Entourage to send to my listserv, it only copies the text, no HTML or graphics. If I copy the contents from the Code view, it pastes just the HTML raw code, which does not get converted when sending.

Is there a way to save the HTML file and get it into Entourage to look correct on the Mac? If I were on the PC, I could use Insert in Outlook to insert the HTML file in the email, but there is no equivalent option in Entourage.

u, urself have the answer, it cannot be done until entourage has an option to import the HTML file, but u can build ur own emailer using ASP/PHP...
