We have an IP500 4.2.17
With 3 x SIP Trunks + 30 ISDN 30 Channels
We also have 3 different SIP numbers for various locations in the UK.

All 3 lines ring in perfectly fine but what i would like to setup for training and demo purposes is

9N; dials our using a Manchester Number
8N; dials out using a birmingham number
7N; dials out using a London Number.

under the sip line i have created 3 x URI's and each one for each number has its own line group

i then created the shotcodes above but with the rest of the information but each time i dialed out it always send the manchester number, does anyone know how to set it so it sends the number of my choice.

I have looked on voiceflex portal but could not see anything any advice would be great

You can't do that with SIP trunks :)...See below from the docs

· S - Calling Number
Place any following digits into the outgoing call's calling number field.

· Outgoing CLI Warning
Changing the outgoing CLI for calls requires the line provider to support that function. You must consult with your line provider before attempting to change the outgoing CLI, failure to do so may result in loss of service. If changing the outgoing CLI is allowed, most line providers required that the outgoing CLI used matches a number valid for return calls on the same trunks. Use of any other number may cause calls to be dropped or the outgoing CLI to be replaced with a valid number.

· Changing the outgoing CLI on calls using SIP trunks is not supported.

· On mobile twinned calls, if the original party information is used or a specific calling party information CLI is set, that number overrides setting the outgoing CLI using short codes

You can do this. As long as your shortcod routes via the correct uri trunk group, amd the uri cötains the id to be shown.
The problem will be with the provider. Ask them to lock down the cli for each trunk, or ask them to use what you send in the sip header.
If they need remote party header or p arrested them you will be out of luck, them in with the 3 accounts but use ip authorisavion

got this working with the help of my BP, the way i had it setup is perfectly fine i just had to request to have the sip lines changed to "Pass Through" and it works a treat so the Knowledgebase / Docs are incorrect

I use Voiceflex and as long as the trunk is set to passthrough and the SIP URI is set to use Userdata it will send whatever you have in the SIP tab of the user.

This means we can actually send say a mobile number as our outgoing CLI over our SIP if we wish.
