Same day different call center

We take calls from another region, so when we call the customer back we want to pretend we live near them by sending caller ID that is local for them. Public-Unknown Numbering table is only 2 pages, so I can't put all the stations in it, But apparently if I direct calls over a different trunk group it could be done?

Any other tricky tricks to make this little lie happen? COR tricks?

Thanks

With a PRI, I believe you can ask the LEC to present any phone number that you request. You just cannot change the name. So, if you want just one specific number shown, just ask them to set it that way.

YES, input to public-unknowning numbering is 2 pages, but the table can take 9999 entries for an S85xx.. more on the larger systems and less on the S84xx and S83xx. Would you exceed that many?

What tricks are you looking for?
There are no COR tricks?
You might be limited by what the LEC/PSTN would allow you to do on the outbound trunk group. FCC regulates the outbound caller ID and it must match the DID block or the LDN. If they do not match, then the LDN rules. This rule may apply, although it is rather loose in its enforcement today.

If you are going to have a list greater than the 2 pages... you will need to know the following in order to edit in the future...

change public-unknown-numbering 5 ext-digits 58878 Page 1 of 2
Command is: change public-unknown-numbering, where 5 is the extension lenght and 58878 is the station you want to edit.
You will see that i have 58 entries and counting.

NUMBERING - PUBLIC/UNKNOWN FORMAT

Keep in mind that you don't have to put in every single extension.

We have 4-digit extensions, so these 5 entries cover 50 extensions - 8100 to 8149. This could work for you if you have sequential extension numbers.
