I have Windows 2000 runiing Active Directory and XP clients connecting to my DC.

Other than email, is there any way for one XP client to send a broadcast message to another using the network?

yes using "net send" at command prompt

do a lookup in help for this and it will explain it....

from command prompt i type the following:

net send Computer-14 This is the text that will appear

then it will say in a message box message to Computer-14 from sending computer

Then in a following line
This is the text that will appear...

you can also use net send /users then text and it will hit everyone...
