Scenario:
One exchange 2003 server, sending email via X400 to an X400 MTA for onward transmission to a limited set of X400 systems, also sending internally via built-in SMTP.
Requirement:
To restrict certain users from sending email via X400 to one or more X400 systems.
Solution so far:
Create a connector for each remote X400 system, place individuals into sending restrictions on X400 connector (not fully tested yet).
Questions:
Can groups be added to the connector restrictions?
Is this the best way of achieving this? It seems to be a lot of admin overhead, approx 18 connectors would need to be created and maintained!
Are there any exchange policies that could do this?
Is there any 3rd party software that could achieve this?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
