Send specific digits when dialling a speed dial.

Hello Guys,

I am sure one of you would be able to help me in this situation.

I have a customer with an ISDN 30 circuit but they only want the billing number to be presented. Which is fine so I configured in the ARS Ns01XXXXXXXX (This works fine and sends out the billing number)

However they also wanted speed dials setup. For example you dial "330" and it dials 07XXXXXXXXX now this is an issue as it will only send the DDI of the user that is calling. I then decided to try putting the Ns01XXXXXXXX as a shortcode on the user, it worked but only if they dialed a number. If they dialed "330" it says "please insert 016XX and dial again" (Or something a long those lines)

Is there anyway round this by dialing the short code and sending the billing number digits at the same time.

it is quite simple
your current short code picks up numbers that start 01
yore example number begins 07, this means another (probably the default) shotcode is being used to rote this call.

possible solutions

1) amend the default short code to force the required CLI

2) change your 01xxxxxxxxx short code to 0xxxxxxxx (check the exact number of x's I have not bothered to count them)



Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

rule 1 of diagnostics - it is alwasys something very simple

check the mos basic & simplest of things 1st.

if that does not fix it you probably have not got simple enough
