Send report Backup mail

Hi everyone, I need to send an e-mail when a backup is done correct or not to a few accounts. I search ARC for this option but I didn't get where it's. Can anybody help me .

HI,

Use ARcserve alert to send out an email once the backup is done...

Hi and thanks for reply, this solution didn't work for me i did everythin on the link and everything is fine but the mail never arrives.

Hi,

If Alert fails to send out emails, it should throw up an error.. can you check the alert manager for the error and report back ?

Yes you're right, sometimes i get an error and sometimes not:

Failed to send email 80040700

any ideas why somteimes happen??

Send a test message from the Alert Manager to see if that is working.
