Good morning,

I went in and ticked the Send Redirecting Number field on our PRI and I am receiving an alert that is saying that the "Redirecting field will not be taken into account."

I am trying to find out exactly what this message means, as I cant find anything in the docs.

Any clue?

Manager Help:

Send Redirecting Number: Default = Off. Software level = 6.0+, IP500/IP500v2 only.
This option can be used on ISDN trunks where the redirecting service is supported by the trunk provider. Where supported, on twinned calls the caller ID of the original call is passed through to the twinning destination. This option is only used for twinned calls.

I know what the option is supposed to do, however when I select it I am getting the alert message as I stated above.

Appreciate the post though.

Whre in the world are you

It probably means that the feature is not supported in your locale

I do not Have A.D.D. im just easily, Hey look a Squirrel!

I am in the US. Our Telco supports it, and claims they are configured and ready to go.

If I create an offline config, the alert is not showing at all.

I guess I will need to reboot although it shows as a merge change.

Hope your carrier is not XO because even though they claim they support it they can't get it to work.
