send path & filename to crystal using VB6

We are trying to run a crystal report 8.5 from our Thin Client program. We want to have our program run crystal and pass it the path and filename of the file used to run the report.

Does anyone have any suggestions for doing this? Can we send the path and file name to Crystal through Visual Basic without making a VB data connection to the file?
