Send only the data files and not the whole system

Hi there,

I am looking at the site that was suggested to me for the password. I need to find time to secure it.. i have a simple question. the system I am installing is in another region. I have to access the latest master tables on a bi-weekly basis. Right now I am goign to ask them to zip the whole application. What i am really interested are the tables containing the data that i need for merging it with other regional data and then do my reporting. Can the back end be zipped and sent? or is there an easier way to do ? Ur input is greatly appreciated. As always thanks a lot..

I am still trying to figure out how to use the security wizard. I am in a bit f a crunch as i have to install the application my end next week with documentation et all.

I use linked tables for this very reason. Your data is seperate and can be zipped or copied as needed.

You current data may also be exported.

Hi Jim, can u pls. tell me a bit more about these linked tables.. are u talking about the front and back end system and use the backend system to zip and send out??
