Send mail from Command Prompt

Hi guys,

I have a batch (.bat) program which runs frequently on one of my NT server. I want to modify this batch program to send mail when certain step/s fail.

Is there a "Command" which I can run within this batch program which sends mail? I have mail setup on this box and am able to send/receive mails using Outlook.

Any clue would be appreciated.

This doesn't have a built in SMTP server, so you will need access to one:

gbmail [-v] -file <filename> [-h <smtp_server_name>] [-p <port_number>]
[-from <addres>] -to <addres> [-cc <Cc:>] [-bcc <Bcc:>]
[-s <Subject:>] [-t <timeout>]
