Hi all and everyone...

Right, I have a form that checks product selections against availability and lets you know if a product is unavailable and who to contact for specials depending on the selection...

I also have a problem with emailing to a supervisor, the contents of the shown record should those product selections be bad possibly highlighting training issues...

(I don't half get talked into some stuff at work... I must be a sucker...)

How would I automatically email the records contents based on the afterupdate event of a button click?

You can use the DoCmd.SendObject, or (and what I would recomend) automate Outlook & send the message.

I've used the docmd.sendobject as pratting around with macros, I would rather do the coding myself as I like to learn, could you explain how I would do this or provide an example?
