send first 50 lines from db then remove to another

Hi,
I have a cgi that allows people to input user information such as first name, last name, etc...

Is there a way then to copy the first 50 entries ouf of the database (flat) and email them to a person, then remove them from the database and store them in a secondary database? Any help is appreciated.
