Hey guys,
This site is the BEST!

I'm creating a Membership database.
I have a PHONE and EMAIL fields.
Could you tell me how I may code my app to take the info in the email field, load OUTLOOK and place the contents of the email field into the TO: field of OUTLOOK.

Also, I've written a DOS program that would dial via COM2:
the contents of the phone field. The DOS window appears (yuck) and dials...timing out after 10 secs. Is there a procedure for FPW2.6a for this? I've tried

=fopen('COM2',2)
=fwrite(2,'ATDT......')
(does not work)

Thanks a bunch guys.
You are the greatest!

Up to what I know, ports cannot be opened in FP for Windows!

David.

1. Email to outlook. Can not help you there, I do not use the program.
If you want to use Eudora instead, let me know.

2. Yes FPW2.6 will write and control output to a comm port.
