I need to send email(s) from Access 97 with multiple spreadsheet attachments. The Access sendobject method won't do it since that only sends Access objects.

I believe I need to create a MAPI object and send using that.

The pc may have Outlook, AOL, Lotus Mail, etc for email software. It may also have Win95, 98, 2k, ME, or XP!

Anyone know how I can get started or have any good examples?

Thanks!

NOT TRUE!

You can send xls, rtf, html and txt files, also. See the Access Help on the SendObject command.

Here's some sample code:

DoCmd.SendObject acForm, "ExcelFileName", acFormatXLS, "you@domain.com", , "Excel sheet enclosed", "A New Excel spreadsheet has been sent on " & Me![DATE_ENTERED] & "", True Newposter
