Hi,

I use winsock to send a .jpg image. The image is 32K but the client received only 8k. the image is skewed/distorted at the bottom.

I read a winsock bug from MSDN,Q234576, saying that winsock may not receive binary data.

Anyone has suggestions to work around this problem?

Thanks!

Another engineer I work with has had no problems sending
images (binary files) via winsock. It just took a couple of minutes before the file was completely tranferred.
I don't lnow what he did, but I'd suggest waiting a much
longer time for a binary file to get there.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried but did not have any luck. On the client side, the binary data was put into a file, the size is always 8k no matter how long I waited, and the process seems waiting for my action instead of gathering the data.

I was able to send a 2K .jpg without any problem, but when the file gets bigger (I don't know what is the limit), then I start having problem.

Thanks!
