Send a email from a website automatically - HELP!!

I have a field to input the message(or body) and a drop down box or list box to choose the name or group of names. Once you select the name or group of names and then type your message hit send and it email automatically and not come up with a window of your email program for you to send
basically does it behind the seens.

You need to use Server side script (as ASP, Perl, php)
