IP500 V2 with IPO8(44) in the UK.

I want to bar a group of extensions from dialling ALL external numbers EXCEPT:

Calls to local numbers
901234xxxxxx
914101234xxxxxx
95xxxxx
92xxxxx
91415xxxxx
91412xxxxx

Calls to emergency services
9112
9999
9141112
9141999

Can somebody give me a definitive list of the short code entries I need to put in the User Rights for the group to make this happen?

Please assume I am an idiot
I am not onsite
I don't have a copy of the site config

TIA

set system short code to

? / . / Barred
Set up the above list as

<number match> / XXXXXN (etc) / Dial Emergency.

Job done.

As it looks like you are using a 9 instead of a ?, then against the user do 9N, barred, N to bar all calls and then add in anything they should be able to dial as 9XXXXX, dial, N.

That way any matches will be dialable any non matches will hit the barred SC.

Correct no need to but many companies still insist on doing so.

? / . / Barred
Set up the above list as

Nah - easier to set a OCB on each extension, then match teh numbers with a dialemergency shortcode

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
