Selecting Small Fonts is impossible!!!

Hello All,

I have a problem with a users Compaq laptop. While it is undocked it will not allow you to have small fonts. The option is there and can be selected but when you click apply, windows tells me that it needs to reboot before applying the changes, even though I've asked it to apply changes without rebooting. Anyway, after rebooting it loads up with large fonts anyway. It wouldn't be too much of a problem but the guy needs to use a projector that only looks good with small fonts.

The laptop is an Armada M700. It has the standard ATI card that comes with it. I've just installed the latest service pack from compaq, for the ATI card, to see if this would solve the problem.

While the laptop is docked you can select small, large or anything in between.

Please help it's doing my head in!

Forgot to say, running Win 95

Try logging in as "administrator" and changing the font. The user who is logged in may not have the rights to change it. mot98

Windows 95 undocked doesn't need to log on. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
