IN MS Word --Is there a way to select and print either some or all of the contents of a cell or cells in a table without printing the entire table?

I have been copying the text I want, pasting it into a new doc and then printing. But that seems a waste of time.

Thanks,

Leonard

I could be wrong, but I believe what you are doing is probably the best option. Word doesn't have print selection feature. Unless, of course, you write a macro.

There is an option in the Print dialogto Print only the selection. However, it is not enabled for tables unless you have selected whole rows. If you select a column or cell the option is unavailable.

There is probably a good reason why it won't work for columns or cells, but you I don't know why. For everything else, you can slect and print just the selection.
