Hi. Need some help.

I have 46,000 records, one recrod per member.

I have a field labeled Plan, which there are about 300 different plans and there can be several members with the same plan. For my purpose I need a query to just pull the first member from each with a different plan.

Would I use the Min or Max function for this, not sure how to write the function.

Keep in mind records in tables have no reliable order. They are like marbles in a bag. You can't define first or last without identifying the stored value(s) that determine first or last.
