Select Distinct for mailing list?

Hi all,

I'm sure I asked this question years ago but it's been a long time since I've had to work with Access and now we have a large mailing list. Problem: There may be many family members with the same last name (obviously different first names) at the same address and we would like to produce labels so that only one label per last name at same address comes up. Label will read The [LastName] Family on the name line of the label.

Can you tell me exactly how to extract the "duplicate" family members from the list? I thought I remembered "Select Distinct" but not the details of how to do it.

Thank you so much, as always, for your help.

You could Group By last name and address, or choose Unique Values, that is, Select Distinct, from the properties for the query.
