select based on other report!!

I have two reports on in one file, report1 + subreport 1

I want subreport 2 to display records based on which feild report1 is on.I am new to CR formulas

thanks in advance

no formula needed...just link to the second subreport by the parameter that it is related to in the main report.

Is your other subreport stand-alone? Jim Broadbent
