Seeing User Access Changes on BO web

BO version - 6.5

I add/change/create groups and users for our BO environment. An annoying issue we have is that if I make changes to groups or users or access to documents in Supervisor, the changes are slow to "refresh" on the BO web portal.

A previous admin apparently knew of a command that could be run which would force an immediate refresh of updated access changes in Supervisor, but it was not documented. This was apparently done on UNIX (in our BO setup we use both UNIX and Windows).

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Thanks

That's normal. BO uses what's called the LoginServer. It caches the repository information so that the WebI server doesn't have to communicate with the repository on every login.

What you can do is to open the WebI admin panel and manually refresh the LoginServer. Users will still have to log out and back in for settings to take effect.
